The work we do wouldn’t be possible without the help of our schools and supporters. We’re grateful to all of you for helping us to spread the word about the Thank A Teacher campaign, ensuring that as many schools, teachers, school leaders and support staff as possible are thanked for their work in education.
We want to celebrate the professionalism, passion and commitment of our schools. It means so much to receive a thank you. One teacher told us: “I can’t put into words how touched I was to receive this today”. We want more people to know how much of a difference they are making to the lives of young people.
Encourage pupils, staff and parents to say “thank you” to someone amazing in your school or college. We’ll send each person thanked a lovely card with a personal message.
Anyone can send a card; children, students, parents, grandparents and colleagues can all say thank you. The Thank a Teacher campaign recognises ALL staff working in schools; school leaders, teachers, teaching assistants, and all support staff such as lunchtime supervisors, caretakers and cleaners,
The Thank A Teacher campaign is open ALL year round. During the year we have key moments where we celebrate teachers and heavily promote the campaign on social media. Please register your interest as a supporter so we can send you individual media assets for these campaigns.
We are thrilled to announce that we have a schools log-in area coming soon. Schools will be able to manage their thank you messages, see who has been thanked, forward on to members of the SLT, track their thank you milestones and take thank yous to the next stage and enter the nominee into the Pearson National Teaching Awards.
