- Encourage your followers to send a limited edition thank you e-card for National Thank a Teacher Day, specially designed by Gruffalo illustrator, Axel Scheffler.
- Don’t forget you can send a thank you of your own! The Thank a Teacher campaign is open to any member of the public wishing to thank someone working in a school. Get your colleagues and followers to send a free thank you e-card to their favourite teacher by clicking the button below! Cards can be sent to teachers, school leaders, teaching assistants, and all support staff in UK schools and colleges.
On the day!
- Have someone from your organisation record a video thanking a teacher that had an impact on them and share it on social media.
- Share a picture of people from your organisation wearing something sparkly for their teaching stars on National Thank a Teacher Day!
- Encourage people to send a thank you and enter our celebrity judged #HowWillYouSayThankYou competitions. Anyone who sends a card will be given the links to enter, with the best entries announced by celebrity judges such as Nadiya Hussain and Sir Michael Morpurgo.
