You have the kindest heart and purist soul and always going to the extra mile for everyone. The children learn so much from you and you do a crazy amount for the school. You are the most incredible leader I have had the honour to work with in my 21 years in the profession. You have patience, understanding and empathy in strides and I hope that you realise just how amazing you are. This past year has been tough. Navigating a sen child and their emotions and behaviours has been fraught with uncertainty, sleepless nights, worries about the future but I can honestly say that I know he is safe and cared for in your class and that you have his best interests at heart. Not many teachers spend their evenings, sometimes consecutive evenings, on the phone to parents supporting them, listening to them, and working with us to improve welfare. You treat every child as an individual and tailor your teaching accordingly. Given the size of classes and your very busy schedule this is a remarkable feat. Balancing the delivery of the KS4 and KS5 Art curriculum while providing such strong support to the Engineering team through Engineering Design is a massive achievement. Mr B you are such a brilliant Headmaster. You can not do enough for every child at our school. We can see the impact you have had on the school over the last 8 years  but it’s harder to quantify the impact you have had on all the children that you love, cherish and support. You have brought a difference to the meaning of the phrase “educate a child” by ensuring that it’s not just about scores or exam results but by involving as many children as possible in team sports, creating role models, via “The Buddy System”, helping in the local community with “Service Awards”, getting all the children involved with “Tough Mudder” and using the running track to help fitness/health and team spirit.

Dear Mr G, I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the incredible support you show beyond the classroom. Your commitment to your students truly goes above and beyond and it does not go unnoticed. It meant so much to my daughter—and to us as a family—that you took the time to attend her football match. Mr B, Thank you for the unfaltering commitment, dedication and support you give the students to be the best mathematicians they can be. That you always go the extra mile is noticed and very much appreciated. You are our number one teacher, not least for your patience and understanding of pupils who may be struggling for all manor of reasons, but everything you do behind the scenes too to help pupils achieve their best. Be it the uploading of lessons to teams so that pupils who were not in class can catch up, the morning support sessions you have offered and run, the weekly (even daily!) after school revision and catch up sessions for Y11’s, or the regular phone calls home to update parents on their children’s target areas or up and coming (or missed!) homework, your dedication, commitment and support does not go unnoticed, and for that we want to thank you very, very much. You are our #1.

Massive THANK YOU to Mr T for leading another successful Malawi trip. You work so hard supporting Mbeza and all the incredible work you do.
