Send a Thank You

The Thank a Teacher campaign recognises ALL staff working in UK early years, schools and colleges; school leaders, teachers, teaching assistants, and all support staff such as lunchtime supervisors, caretakers and cleaners. If you’re feeling shy you can send a card anonymously. To enter the Unsung Hero award simply follow the same process to send your free thank-you card. Make your message genuine and heartfelt, but keep it general. Don’t mention that you’re secretly nominating them for an award. Once you’ve gone through the process, you’ll see a box you can tick to put them forward for the award. Good luck!

The Thank a Teacher campaign is only open to schools in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. If you send a card outside of this geographical area, your card will not be sent. Can't find your school/college or early years setting? Try typing the postcode instead.

Tell us the name of the teacher, lecturer, teaching assistant, headteacher or support staff that you would like to thank (1 form per person please). You can also thank your school as a whole or a single department. If you would like to do that, just enter the details in the relevant box.
